Thousands of years ago, Darkseid and his Parademons attempted to conquer Earth using the Mother Boxes after learning that Earth harbored the Anti-Life Equation. The attempt was foiled by a unified alliance of Old Gods, Amazons, Atlanteans, humanity, and a Green Lantern. After the battle, the Boxes were hidden in different locations, guarded by the Amazons, Atlanteans, and Humanity, respectively. In the present, Superman's death[b] triggers the Boxes' reactivation, attracting Steppenwolf, Darkseid's disgraced lieutenant, to Earth. Steppenwolf aims to regain Darkseid's favor by gathering the boxes to form "the Unity," which would terraform Earth in the likeness of their world Apokolips.

Steppenwolf retrieves a Mother Box from Themyscira, prompting Queen Hippolyta to warn her daughter Diana Prince. Diana receives the message and learns of the events related to Darkseid and Steppenwolf. She informs Bruce Wayne. Bruce and Diana seek to form a team of metahumans to protect Earth. Bruce locates Arthur Curry and Barry Allen, while Diana locates Victor Stone. Barry joins immediately, while Arthur and Victor refuse. However, Victor joins after his father Silas and several other S.T.A.R. Labs employees are kidnapped by Parademons seeking the humans' Mother Box. Steppenwolf attacks an Atlantean outpost to retrieve their Box, forcing Arthur into action.

The team receives intel from Gotham City Police Commissioner James Gordon, leading them to Steppenwolf's army in an abandoned facility under Gotham Harbor. Although the group rescues the kidnapped employees, the facility is flooded during combat, trapping the team until Arthur helps delay the flood so they can escape. Victor retrieves the last Mother Box, which he had hidden, for the group to analyze. Victor reveals that Silas used the Box to rebuild his body after a car accident and that the Boxes are "change machines" that unfalteringly enforce the will of their master, destroying or restoring to life without bias. The group decides to use the Box to resurrect Superman to help fight Steppenwolf. Barry and Victor exhume Superman's body and place it in the amniotic fluid of the genesis chamber in a Kryptonian ship[c] kept in S.T.A.R. Labs. After Barry activates the Mother Box, an amnesiac Superman is resurrected, immediately attacking the group after Victor's cybernetics target him in self-defense. Lois Lane arrives just in time to calm Superman, preventing him from killing Bruce. Together, Lois and Superman leave for his family home in Smallville, where he regains his memories and reunites with his mother, Martha.

Steppenwolf attacks S.T.A.R. Labs and retrieves the last Mother Box, though Silas manages to supercharge the Box with laser heat at the cost of his own life, allowing Victor to track it by tracing the heat. Without Superman, the five heroes travel to where Steppenwolf aims to unite the Boxes. The team fights their way through the Parademons to reach the Boxes but cannot distract Steppenwolf enough for Victor to separate them. Superman arrives and overpowers Steppenwolf, but the Boxes merge to form the Unity, causing a massive explosion. Barry enters the Speed Force and reverses time, allowing Superman and Victor to separate the Boxes. The heroes kill Steppenwolf and toss his body through a portal to Apokolips. Darkseid assures his servant DeSaad he will return to Earth to complete his quest for the Anti-Life Equation.

After the battle, Bruce, Diana, and Alfred Pennyworth agree to set up a base of operations at the former Wayne Manor. As the team establishes, Diana receives another message from the Amazons, Barry acquires a job in Central City's police department which impresses his father Henry, Victor is inspired by a message from his father to use his abilities for good, Arthur bids farewell to Mera, and his mentor Nuidis Vulko as he goes to see his father,[d] and Superman resumes his life as reporter Clark Kent and as protector of Earth.

Lex Luthor, who escaped from Arkham Asylum, is visited by Slade Wilson, to whom Luthor reveals Batman's secret identity. After having a vision involving Victor, Barry, Mera, Wilson, the Joker, and an evil Superman in a post-apocalyptic world,[e] Bruce receives a visit from the Martian Manhunter, who previously visited Lois disguised as Martha. He thanks Bruce for assembling the team before saying they will be in contact in preparation for Darkseid's next plans.

A young Diana Prince participates in an athletic event on Themyscira against older Amazons. After falling from her horse, Diana takes a shortcut and remounts, but misses a checkpoint. Antiope removes her from the competition, explaining anything worthwhile must be obtained honestly.

In 1984, Diana works at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. while secretly performing heroic deeds as Wonder Woman. New museum employee Barbara Ann Minerva, a shy geologist and cryptozoologist, is barely seen by her co-workers, and comes to envy Diana. Later, the FBI asks the museum to identify stolen antiquities from a robbery that Wonder Woman recently foiled. Barbara and Diana notice one item, later identified as the Dreamstone, contains a Latin inscription claiming to grant the holder one wish.

Barbara wishes to become like Diana, but acquires the same superpowers, while Diana unknowingly wishes for her deceased lover Steve Trevor to be alive, resurrecting him in another man's body; the two are reunited at a Smithsonian gala. Failing businessman Maxwell "Max Lord" Lorenzano tricks Barbara and steals the Dreamstone, hoping to use its power to save his bankrupt oil company. He wishes to "become" the stone and gains its wish-granting powers, becoming a wealthy and powerful figure who creates chaos and destruction as his powers trigger worldwide instability.

Barbara, Diana, and Steve discover that the Dreamstone was created by Dolos/Mendacius, the god of mischief, also known as Duke of Deception. It grants a user's wish while exacting a toll unless they renounce the wish or destroy the stone. Although Diana's power and Barbara's humanity diminish, both are unwilling to renounce their wishes. Learning from the U.S. President of a satellite system that broadcasts signals globally, Max, whose powers are causing his body to deteriorate, plans to globally grant wishes to steal strength and life force from the viewers and regain his health. Diana and Steve confront him at the White House, but Barbara, now aligned with Max, defeats Diana, escaping with Max on Marine One. Steve convinces Diana to renounce her wish and let him go, restoring her strength and gaining an ability to fly.

Donning the armor of Amazon warrior Asteria, Diana flies to the satellite headquarters and again battles Barbara, who has transformed into a humanoid cheetah after wishing to become an apex predator. Following a brutal match, Diana tackles Barbara into a lake and electrocutes her, then pulls her out. She confronts Max and uses her Lasso of Truth to communicate with the world through him, convincing everyone to renounce their wishes (causing Barbara to revert to normal), then shows Max visions of his own unhappy childhood and of his son, Alistair, who is frantically searching for his father amid the chaos. Max renounces his wish and reunites with Alistair. Some time later, Diana meets the man whose body Steve possessed. Meanwhile, Asteria is revealed to be secretly living among humans.

Two months after convincing his father, Bigfoot, to return home, Adam becomes overwhelmed with the attention his father’s newfound fame has brought the family. He is also struggling to confess his feelings to his crush Emma.

Bigfoot wants to use his fame for a good cause and decides that protecting a large wildlife reserve from a dodgy oil company in Alaska is the perfect opportunity. Adam helps his father by uploading a promotional video to social media. Swathes of protestors arrive to support Bigfoot, who mysteriously disappears one night. Adam and his mother Shelly journey to find and rescue him along with their animal friends.

Arriving in Alaska, Adam and Shelly meet with the protestor who last saw Bigfoot, Arlo Woodstock. Shelly follows Arlo to the last location he saw Bigfoot, while Adam and his animal friends are ambushed by workers from the oil company. He escapes and encounters a wolf, whom he strikes a deal with. The wolf guides him to where the oil company is working before departing. Adam finds out that Arlo actually works for the company, and has taken Shelly; Adam evades capture from him.

Adam infiltrates the company grounds. Tycoon businessman and owner of the company, Conor Mandrake, is preparing to destroy the valley using a bomb, so that he can excavate the present oil easier. After freeing Shelly, as well as his father, who was also kidnapped by the company, Adam escapes the grounds with them. Turning back, they defuse the bomb. Conor confronts them, and Adam records him, exposing the scheme.

Adam uploads the recording of Conor’s confession. Conor and Arlo are arrested. Adam later meets with Emma and she reveals that he accidentally sent a video exposing his feelings to her. He asks Emma out, and she accepts, kissing Adam while his eavesdropping family congratulates him.

In 1954, Godzilla, a prehistoric alpha predator, is lured to Bikini Atoll in an attempt to kill him with a nuclear bomb. In 1999, Monarch scientists Ishiro Serizawa and Vivienne Graham investigate the skeleton of a monster similar to Godzilla in a cavern unearthed by a collapsed uranium mine in the Philippines. They also find two giant spores, one dormant and one hatched, along with a trail leading to the sea. In Japan, the Janjira Nuclear Power Plant experiences unusual seismic activity as supervisor Joe Brody sends his wife Sandra to lead a team of technicians into the reactor. A tremor breaches the reactor, forcing Joe to close the reactor door before Sandra and her team can escape while the plant collapses.

Fifteen years later, Joe and Sandra's son Ford, a U.S. Navy EOD officer, returns from a tour of duty to his wife Elle and son Sam in San Francisco, but must immediately depart for Japan after Joe is detained for trespassing in Janjira's quarantine zone. Joe is determined to find out the cause of the meltdown, and persuades Ford to accompany him to retrieve vital data from their old home. They discover the zone is uncontaminated and retrieve the data, but are discovered and taken to a facility in the plant's ruins. The facility harbors a massive chrysalis that had been feeding off of the plant's reactors for 15 years and emitting strong electro-magnetic pulses over time. A giant winged insect-like creature emerges from the chrysalis and escapes, destroying the facility. Joe is severely injured and later dies. The incident is reported publicly as an earthquake.

Serizawa and Graham join a U.S. Navy task force led by Admiral William Stenz to search for the creature, dubbed a "MUTO" (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism). Serizawa and Graham reveal to Ford that a 1954 deep sea expedition awakened Godzilla, and nuclear tests in the 1950s were actually attempts to kill him; when this did not work, Project Monarch was established to secretly study Godzilla and similar monsters. They also explain that the MUTO caused the Janjira meltdown. Ford reveals Joe had monitored echolocation signals indicating the MUTO was communicating with something, presumably Godzilla.

The MUTO attacks a Russian submarine and drops it in O'ahu to eat its nuclear material. Godzilla arrives, causing a tsunami in Honolulu, and briefly engages the MUTO in battle until the MUTO flees. Serizawa deduces Godzilla was only listening as the MUTO was communicating with something else, prompting the military to investigate the other spore stored in the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository in Nevada. However, a second, bigger, wingless MUTO has already emerged, and attacks Las Vegas. The scientists deduce that it is female and was what the male was communicating with, their signals being a mating call.

Over the scientists' objections, Stenz approves a plan to use nuclear warheads to lure all three monsters out to the open ocean and destroy them. Returning to the U.S., Ford joins the team delivering the warheads by train, but the female MUTO intercepts them and devours most of the warheads. The remaining warhead is airlifted with Ford to San Francisco, where the monsters are converging, and activated after Godzilla appears at the Golden Gate Bridge, only for the male MUTO to snatch it and take it to the female, who forms a nest around it in the Chinatown area.

While Godzilla and the MUTOs battle, Ford and a strike team enter the city via HALO jump to find and disarm the warhead before it detonates. Unable to access the timer, the team gets the warhead on a boat for disposal at sea, while Ford destroys the nest. Godzilla defeats the MUTOs and collapses on the shore from exhaustion. Ford gets the boat out to open sea, is rescued before the warhead explodes, and reunites with his family at an emergency shelter the following morning. Godzilla reawakens and returns to the sea, while the media dubs him the "King of the Monsters" and speculate whether he might be a savior.

A young woman finds herself reliving the same day over and over. Each day Ria wakes up to her normal routine, but finds a different man, her husband Jack, by her side. She lives her perfect house-wife life, until one day her routine becomes tiresome and Ria holds Jack ransom and escapes the house. We find a massive conspiracy plan behind Ria, her husband(s) and the secret is finally revealed.

In Nagercoil, 2003, teenager Bhavani witnesses his family get murdered by his father's rivals. He is forced to take the blame and is incarcerated in a juvenile detention facility, where he is tortured mercilessly. As a consequence, he develops a ruthless and brash persona. Years later, Bhavani escapes from the facility and becomes a criminal in the lorry and trade business. Gradually, he becomes a feared gangster, and remains immune from punishment by coercing the inmates of the detention facility to take the blame. Grooming an enormous empire for himself, he grows on par with his father's former rivals and eventually kills them.

In Chennai, 2019, John "J.D." Durairaj, a popular college lecturer beloved by his students for his student-friendly approach, is struggling with alcoholism and bitter dislike from fellow staff. Only Charu, a newly hired lecturer at his college, sympathizes with him. After he organizes a college election that goes awry, he is assigned to the juvenile detention facility for a three-month assignment. The staff tells him that he volunteered for the job, but he does not recall doing so. He reluctantly assumes his new position, and is warned by the prison authorities of the rampant drug abuse and violence there, but J.D. pays no heed.

The next day, J.D discovers that two young inmates, brothers Sabari and Manikandan, were murdered. He is interrogated by police. A grief-stricken Charu admonishes him for his reckless and negligent behaviour, revealing that she was the one who had signed him up for the job, believing him to be the only teacher capable of understanding the needs of the inmates. She reveals herself as an non-governmental organisation volunteer investigating the crimes occurring in the facility; the brothers had desperately contacted her for help. While in detention, J.D. discovers a letter written by the brothers to him, detailing the horrific activities taking place inside the centre. Heartbroken, he thrashes Bhavani's goons who had been dispatched to kill him and calls him, promising to end his reign of terror and crime. He redeems himself and quits his tryst with alcohol.

Now reformed, J.D. slowly gains control over the institution and begins to reform the inmates, with the help of Charu and the facility's authorities. His actions are opposed by Das, an older inmate responsible for the illegal drugs and alcohol. With the support of a young inmate, Undiyal, J.D. uncovers the various crimes and gets the inmates to record confessions. J.D. discovers that Bhavani regularly makes the inmates take the blame for his crimes. Bhavani's goons target Charu and retrieves the video from her, sparing her only because of Undiyal's timely intervention.

Undiyal reveals that selected inmates of the facility are tattooed with the Tamil letter "Pa", a symbol that allows them unrestricted access to free food and drugs from Bhavani's associates. J.D. targets and raids the respective establishments and cuts off the drug supply to the detention facility, much to Bhavani's frustration. He also sneaks into Bhavani's place and warns Bhavani's men to stand down, threatening them of dire consequences (while unknowingly holding Bhavani himself at knifepoint).

Bhavani retaliates by killing J.D.'s associates. With J.D. distracted, Das drags most of the inmates out of the facility, including Undiyal, to transport them out of Tamil Nadu. J.D., with the help of his friend Vaanathi, who is an expert in archery, manages to subdue Das' men and rescues the children. J.D. then confronts Das and makes him realize that Bhavani only intends to use the latter^{[clarification needed]} as a pawn for his crimes. Das reforms himself and transports J.D. to Bhavani's headquarters. Bhavani attempts to have J.D. and Das killed. The duo subdue Bhavani's men and fights him. He attempts to form a truce and escape, but J.D. overpowers and kills him. With the children safe, J.D. and Das surrender to the police.

The detention facility is shut down by the government, with the inmates being sent to other detention facilities and state prisons, on the basis of their age. J.D. and Das are imprisoned together, indicating the duo's intention to reform the prison's inmates as well.

Every six years, an ancient order of expert Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in a battle for Earth. For thousands of years the invaders have lost to Earth's defenders, up until now. Earth's future is in jeopardy.

In a jungle in Burma (Myanmar) Asia, Jake Barnes, a celebrated war hero, is running away from flying stars ("shurikens") under the command of Brax, the powerful invader leader. Jake ends up on an oceanside cliff, where he is hit by the stars, falls into the ocean, hits his head and blacks out.

Wylie, a Jiu Jitsu fighter, rescues Jake from the water and gives him over to the care of two Burmese fishermen. They stitch up weary Jake's cuts and take him to a nearby military outpost, assuming that he came from there. After foreboding miscommunication between an inexperienced translator and one of the fisherwomen, Jake is left at the outpost and starts to regain consciousness. But he must regain his strength! Puzzled by the mention of a comet that comes every six years and a hole in a temple opening, the operatives set about figuring out where Jake came from. An intelligence officer, Myra, tries to interrogate Jake but he appears to have amnesia, with no recall of events leading to his being found in the water.

After a fight sequence Myra injects Jake with a truth serum, but this proves ineffective on what he divulges. She decides it is probable that he actually does not remember, but while discussing this with other operatives, Keung, advanced Jiu Jitsu fighter, begins to work his way through the base, besting fist and gun alike. Keung is unfazed by repeated attacks by men in balaclavas and fatigue uniforms, who he lays flat. Gunfire and the sound of feet against chests, heads and the like alert Myra and the others that indeed something is up. After more fighting, Keung approaches Jake who he recognizes with a special handclasp. Keung exclaims "We gotta go" and Jake accepts this chance to leave his captors. Their departure from the base confirms that Jake, too, is skilled in the art of using his limbs in defense against others.

Jake then reunites with three other fighters who seem to know him but he doesn't remember who they are or what his mission is. As they try to leave to head back to their base, soldiers turn up again. The three other fighters defeat the entire unit easily but Jake gets grabbed by Myra. She tried questioning him again back at the military base but he simply tells her she should leave. They then decide to move out from the army base as they try to escape but they are hunted down by an alien called Brax. Most of the army unit is taken out but Jake falls into a rabbit hole while running away and meets Wylie.

Brax fights all of the fighters, killing them in violent ways. Wylie sacrificies himself to save Jake. Jake and the Army officers from earlier reunite with a plan to destroy Brax in the temple. They drink some Burmese alcohol and perform medical procedures upon each other.
