Ram Mohan, a university professor visits psychiatrist Dr. Satya Kishore and explains his son Santosh's sex addiction and need for counseling. Later, Santosh visits the psychiatrist and explains his past. Santosh, a civil engineer, believes he has a small penis, based on few incidents from his childhood until college. During the same time, his father perceives that Santosh is a sex addict. Santosh is also part of a social media group called SDG and follows different methods, medicines, and devices suggested by members for penis enlargement, but all efforts go in vain. Finally, he opens up about his problem with his colleague for which Sudarshan suggests going for penis enlargement surgery and arranges an appointment with a Urologist. However, the urologist suggests to Santosh that it's a high-risk surgery with a success rate of 1-2%. Alternatively, Sudarshan takes him to a prostitute's house in order to remove Santosh's stigmas and fears. Unfortunately, the house is raided and Santosh gets caught. The cop warns Santosh and scolds Ram Mohan about their upbringing.

Enraged, Ram Mohan arranges an alliance with Amrutha. On the day of the meeting at Amrutha's house, Santosh comes to know that the girl has a code of expressing her rejection by spilling coffee on the guy. Santosh falls in love with Amrutha and Amrutha also knew Santosh previously based on an incident where Santosh reveals his positive mindset towards women. Amrutha instantly likes Santosh but accidentally spills coffee on Santosh's pants. Santosh considers this as a rejection and leaves the girl's place. Amrutha meets Santosh again and tries to clarify as a result both start liking each other. Amrutha expresses to Santosh that she has big dreams to which Santosh perceives that Amrutha likes everything big and his small one cannot satisfy her wishes. He tries to explain to Amrutha his problem but fails. But Amrutha likes Santosh's honesty and the marriage gets fixed. Later he decides to get the risky penis enlargement surgery for Amrutha, for which he loans around 15lakh rupees from a local goon. On the day of surgery, the urologist dies in the operation theater due to his heart condition while Santosh is under anesthesia, thus Santosh doesn't get his surgery done as well cannot get back the money for at least 1 month.

As the marriage date approaches, Santosh decides to reveal the truth to Amrutha. They meet at a joggers park on Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, Santosh's father comes to the same park, seeing Santosh and Amrutha go behind a tree. But they are caught by the right-winged Hindu group that doesn't encourage Valentine's Day. They forcibly get Santosh married to Amrutha and is all covered on live tv which becomes an embarrassment for both families. They come to terms with it and plan a grand reception. During the reception, Amrutha gets to meet all of Santosh's maternal cousins including a Saptagiri who is mad about Santosh, a cousin with suicidal tendencies due to love failure, a Tik tok addict girl, and a grandfather who is obsessed with Pooja Hegde. They are all not liked by Santosh's father and never allows them to visit his house.

The families plan the first night for the couple, however, Santosh tries to delay it due to his problem. He tricks all his cousins to stay for the next 10 days thus delaying it. He also foils the honeymoon trip sponsored by his company by deliberately missing the train. He also comes to know from his social media group that a new Ayurvedic medicine has come for penis enlargement. Sudarshan goes to get the medicine and brings Sanyaasini to personally deliver the medicine. Shraddha Das says she has to stay at Santosh's house to deliver the medicine personally to him. Sanyaasini instructs Santosh that the medicine is a 7-day course and has to be taken daily at 3 am. She also warns him about the side- effects like excess hunger, rage, and severe stomach ache. Santosh accepts it and starts taking the medicine personally prepared by her. The suicidal cousin along with Ram Mohan suspects that Santosh has an affair with the Shraddha Das. The cousin tries to explain to Amrutha but she never believes it. Side effects have a toll on Santosh's married life, especially with the rage. Sanyaasini also appreciates Santosh's love for Amrutha because he is the only person who has continuously taken the medicine for 4 days while the rest stopped it within 2 days. On the final day of the course, the medicine gets mixed in lunch preparations thus consumed by all cousins they fight among each other as a side effect. Later, Santosh gets intimate with Amrutha and he realized that Amrutha did not complain about his size.

Things go well and Amrutha's family comes to visit her. Unfortunately, the cop who caught Santosh in the raid is Amrutha's uncle and he reveals his encounter with Santosh and his father. Amrutha's family felt cheated and they take her away. Santosh tries to reconcile with her for the past 3 months but the family doesn't allow him to meet and tries to break the alliance. The psychiatrist listens to Santosh's issue and then he explains that his fears and stigmas are rather mental-oriented and it doesn't have to do anything with his penis size. He suggests Santosh stop worrying about society's perception, stop believing in all kinds of medicines for penis enlargement and immediately meet Amrutha, tell her the truth come or may, and apologize to her. The psychiatrist later meets Ram Mohan and blames him that he failed to understand his son's mental issue and address it. As a result, Santosh alone had to fight his own stigma of a small penis for the past 20 years and not committing suicide as a saving grace.

Finally, Santosh goes to Amrutha's place, takes a loudspeaker, and expresses his love for her, his fear of having a small penis, but he doesn't care about society anymore. Santosh and Amrutha reconcile, their marriage is saved and have a son. One day the son asks Santosh how are kids born. Realizing his own experience as a child when he asked a similar question to his father, Santosh decides not to have such a situation with his son. So he starts explaining to his son in a way kids really understand and in a less controversial manner.

The story of a devoted grandson trying to fulfil his ailing grandmother’s last wish. Amreek resides in Los Angeles with his girlfriend Radha. Both run a movers and packers company called ‘Gently Gently’. Amreek has a laidback and carefree attitude and doesn’t believe in owning up to his mistakes. This
affects his work and also his relations with Radha. Fed up with his behaviour, Radha breaks up with him. Amreek is devastated. This is when his father, Gurkeerat aka Gurki calls him from his home in Amritsar, Punjab. He tells Amreek that he should return immediately as his grandmother, Sardar Kaur, is sick. Sardar, aged 90, has a tumour. The doctors advise Gurki that they should take her home as operating her at this age can prove fatal. Gurki realizes Sardar doesn’t have much time but he hides this fact from Sardar. Sardar, meanwhile, has a wish. She wants to go to Lahore, Pakistan and visit the house that she built with her husband, late Gursher Singh in 1946. A year later, during Partition, Gursher dies while fighting the rioters. Sardar however escapes and reaches India. Since then, she has been missing Gursher and the house. Hence, it’s her desire to visit Pakistan so that she could see her ancestral house. Sardar tells Amreek about it. Gurki advises Sardar that she can’t travel in this condition. But Amreek realizes how much this means to her. He promises her that he’ll help fulfil her wish. He tries to get her visa. However, her application is rejected as she’s blacklisted from visiting Pakistan. This is because a few years ago, she had attacked a Pakistani official, Saqlain Niazi when she had gone to watch an India vs Pakistan cricket match. This is when Amreek learns that Radha has transplanted a nearly hundred-year-old tree in the USA. Amreek thus begins to learn about structural relocation and realizes that a lot of people have successfully lifted a house and transplanted it to a different location. Amreek requests help from both the government of India and Pakistan for his mission. Both decide to help him, in principle. Amreek then decides to visit Lahore. However, he hides about his plan from Sardar. He fears that if he fails in his endeavour, she’ll be heartbroken. Hence, Amreek pretends to go back to Los Angeles in front of Sardar. Amreek reaches Lahore and successfully is able to find Sardar’s house. But when he reaches there, he sees that the local authorities are about to demolish the structure. But he stops it and manages to convince the mayor ( who is actually the official whom his grandmother had hit in the match ) he brings back the house

Starting again with a heroic antic, the story moves ahead from Dabangg 2 with the corrupt yet much-loved cop, ASP Chulbul Pandey, preventing a robbery at a wedding, and beating the goons and their leader, Gullu, black and blue. Gullu then agrees to return to his former part-time job as a wedding band trumpeter, and Chulbul is seen dealing with the everyday lives of his wife Rajjo, brother Makhanchand "Makkhi" Pandey, also a police officer, and his son, while his father Prajapati Pandey stays at home with Rajjo. Makkhi appears to be enjoying a lavish lifestyle most of the time. One fateful day, a despaired girl, probably injured, arrives in a hurry at Makkhi's station after escaping from somewhere and seeks help; Makkhi, expecting to punish her captors, who tried to sell her and other girls off, is joined by Chulbul, and after a scuffle, the brothers arrest Chinti Walia, who runs a prostitution racket.

While trying to force a confession out of Chinti at the police station, Chulbul intercepts a lawyer and some goons who have come over to release Chinti. Still, he tears off the court order, and in desperation, the goons leader keeps his video call going on even as Chulbul smiles into the screen. Minutes later, the leader shows the video call to Bali Singh, who sees Chulbul, who looks back into the phone camera to visit Bali. Shocked beyond words, he reminisces his younger days, recalling his fate with Bali.

Years ago, when he was still young, Chulbul, whose real name turns out to be Dhaakad Chand Pandey, fell in love with a girl, Khushi, who was initially being considered as a potential bride for Makkhi, after he noticed a photo of her in Makkhi's hand, and told his mother, Naini Devi, that he would be a good fit instead of Makkhi; a few days later, Khushi's maternal uncle Prabhat and maternal aunt Janki agreed to the match between Dhaakad and Khushi, and the two began courting each other. At the same time, Bali, a ruthless and violent goon, set his eyes on Khushi and started making arrangements for his marriage with her. However, when he saw Dhaakad with Khushi, he decided to kill Khushi and her family right in front of Dhaakad's eyes after luring him to the spot. Prabhat and Janki were both killed, and Khushi was thrown off a cliff to die. Consequently, both Khushi's uncle Hariya and his daughter Rajjo, revealed to be Khushi's friend, were deeply affected; Hariya took to alcoholism, while Dhaakad, who was framed by Bali and spent much time in prison for the deaths, was taken in by Commissioner Satendar Singh after saving him from attackers, and transformed into an uptight cop, naming himself Chulbul, in Khushi's memory, forming the events of Dabangg.

At present, Chulbul, having relayed this entire episode to Prajapati and Rajjo, decides that he has had enough, and he needs to close the chapter once and for good. Meanwhile, an ill-attracted Makkhi is misled by Bali into turning against Chulbul, nearly to slap him after he too is promoted to the rank of ASP. The action causes him to be banished from home by Prajapati, and he joins hands with Bali actively. Bali, who is set to become a politician and a minister in the upcoming elections, plans to bring in a truck filled with money. Thus, he gets Makkhi and many other police officers in his circle transferred to one common location to facilitate the transportation. Chulbul intercepts the truck and turns Bali's moles in the police force against Bali himself. As revenge, Bali gets several of Chulbul's associates kidnapped and brutally beaten to near death until Chulbul breaks in again and frees them all, even when Bali has run away with Makkhi and some reliable accomplices.

Seeking to lure Bali into counterproductive action, Chulbul kidnaps Minister S. S. Sharma and his brother-in-law by staging a ploy with Gullu's help and forcing a confession of them, which is made viral. Bali notices the same, and Makkhi helps him track them down since he recognizes the hideout. Upon arriving there, Bali kills Sharma and injures his brother-in-law; in retaliation, he sends wrestlers to attack Rajjo and her son, but Chulbul arrives in time to save the two.

Sometime later, Chulbul receives a call from Prajapati, who tells him that Rajjo hasn't arrived home. Sensing Bali's hand in the matter, he invades a quarry where Bali has held Rajjo, and surprisingly, Makkhi himself, as hostages – Makkhi was always on Chulbul's side, and it was a game by the brothers to incense Bali; after an intense confrontation, Chulbul kills and buries Bali.

Babu Lal aka Raj is a young man living with his mother, who wishes to follow in his late father's footsteps by working as a detective named Baadshah. He runs Baadshah Detective Agency out of a Mumbai office full of cheesy detective gadgetry. In his employ are his loyal and helpful friends, and his chief assistant Ram Lal. Though Baadshah tries hard to pass his agency off as highly sophisticated and constantly busy, he actually receives little business and is desperate for a big break.

Suraj Singh Thapar is a business tycoon whose bio-chemical plant is due to be shut down following a preventable industrial accident. It will be shut down by the popular Chief Minister of Goa, Gayatri Bachchan. As a result, he resolves to have her killed. For the job, he has Rani, his young henchwoman, hire Shiva, Mumbai's notorious contract-killer. Meanwhile, a man by the name of K. Jhunjhunwala comes to Baadshah with a strange case. He claims he is dying of a brain tumor and wants to see his daughter married to the suitable bachelor accompanying him, Nitin before he dies. The young woman, Seema, refuses to marry Nitin, hence the need for Baadshah's help. Baadshah comes up with an elaborate plan for the job: he woos Seema with lies and has her fall in love with him, only to dump her later. Nitin comforts her, and Baadshah collects his payment. However, his feelings for her prove to be genuine.

Unbeknownst to Baadshah, Jhunjhunwala and Nitin are actually a father-son team wanted by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The marriage of Nitin to Seema, who is actually the sister of CBI Secret Agent Deepak Malhotra is meant to stop an investigation into their bank fraud case. The plan fails when Agent Malhotra arrests the Jhunjhunwalas before the marriage can take place. It is revealed by the CBI that Shiva's attempt on Gayatri Bachchan's life failed as a result of his death in a car accident. Fearing a second attempt, CBI headquarters tasks Agent Malhotra with providing further protection for the minister in Goa. Malhotra is assigned the codename "Baadshah" for the mission. Thapar becomes informed of this and speaks to Rani who plans with her boyfriend, Moti , travel to the airport to eliminate Secret Agent "Baadshah" and have Moti assume his identity to gain access to Bachchan and carry out the assassination.

At the same time, Baadshah the detective gets a job from Mahendra Seth. Manikchand and Saxena want to gain his diamonds and have kidnapped the businessman's child for ransom. Baadshah and his friend are given tickets to Goa, where the child is being held. Both "Baadshahs" is scheduled for the same flight. Agent Malhotra arrives at the ticket counter and Rani identifies him as Baadshah. This information is passed onto Moti, who quietly kills Malhotra. Baadshah comes up to the ticket counter and is mistakenly given Agent 420's ticket. Baadshah also finds Malhotra's fallen computer disk. At this point, Baadshah has functionally switched places with the deceased agent. Moti arrives at the ticket counter announcing himself as Baadshah and is given the real Baadshah's ticket. During the flight, Rani realizes Moti killed the wrong man. Seema and her partner Tom Uncle are at the Goa airport expecting Agent Malhotra but see Baadshah instead. Seema knows him as Raj and wonders what he is up to. Baadshah meets CBI Agent Adi Chopra and thinks he works for Mahendra Seth while Agent Chopra believes Baadshah is the secret CBI Agent. They leave the airport and go meet CBI Dr. Rusi Surti who gives Baadshah an assortment of top-secret gadgets and a James Bond-style car for assistance on his mission. They commend him about the way he solved the Jhunjhunwalas' case, which Baadshah is shocked to learn is regarding them being arrested for bank fraud. He realizes that Jhunjhunwala lied to him earlier and that he made a big mistake with Seema.

Back at the airport, Baadshah's friends are picked up by a driver posing for Mahendra Seth but he's employed by Manikchand and Saxena the kidnappers. Seema, who had been following Baadshah, arranges to meet with him. They meet and he apologizes to her about what happened before. They reconcile temporarily but Seema wants to know what happened to Agent Malhotra. Moti interrupts their conversation and Seema flees while Baadshah and Moti fight. Baadshah remembers that he previously saw Moti back at the Mumbai airport pushing a man in the wheelchair, who Moti admits he had killed. Baadshah escapes and later receives a call from the kidnappers. He is told by the kidnappers to meet to exchange the diamonds for the child at Saint Paul school the next day. During the call, Baadshah notices in a reflection that Seema is secretly nearby. Seema searches Baadshah's hotel room and finds the computer disk and takes it, unaware that Baadshah is watching her. She checks the disk and finds out that Agent Malhotra and CBI highly suspect Thapar as the man behind the assassination attempt. Seema and Tom Uncle now suspect that Baadshah is a fraud who took her brother's place and is working with Thapar in his plan to kill Bachchan. She heads to Thapar's club to meet Thapar, where Baadshah also shows up after following Seema. Thapar thinks Baadshah is the substitute that Rani arranged for, while Baadshah thinks Thapar is the Chief for Mahendra Seth. Baadshah tells Thapar that the work will be done the next day at Saint Paul school. Thapar thinks Baadshah is talking about the murder of Bachchan, who coincidentally has a program planned at Saint Paul school the next day as well.

The next day, Baadshah meets with the kidnappers to do the exchange. Finding the child and his friends, Baadshah saves them and captures the criminal duo. He sends Ram Lal and the others to an address given by Thapar. Baadshah thinks his friends will meet Thapar to return the diamonds and the child while Thapar thinks they have kidnapped Bachchan and are bringing her to him. Baadshah drives the kidnappers towards town. Back at Saint Paul school, Seema tells security about the planned assassination. Khanna, the corrupt chief security officer is informed and sends his men after Seema to kill her for knowing their secret. Baadshah spots her being chased while driving back and saves her. They both discuss everything they know and come to realize their misunderstandings. Rani and Moti secretly listen to and witness everything as well and they too understand the confusion. Seema and Baadshah find themselves in dire straits; Seema learns that Agent Malhotra, who she reveals was her brother, is dead; and Baadshah's friends and the child are now in the custody of Thapar, who isn't who Baadshah thought he was.

Thapar meets with Baadshah's friends and the child and is confused. Rani shows up with Moti and explains all the misunderstanding. Thapar decides to use the situation to his advantage. He forces Baadshah to assassinate Bachchan himself or else Thapar will kill his friends and the child. The key players travel to the Holiday Inn, where Bachchan is to speak at 12:30 pm during a conference. The child is strapped to a bomb vest and held hostage in a van monitored by Moti and Baadshah's friends are held in a high-rise room monitored by Rani. Baadshah makes multiple attempts to have his gun taken away by security to get out of having to shoot Bachchan, but he realizes that the entire on-site security force is in cahoots with Thapar, keeping tabs on Baadshah. At one point during a conference by Bachchan, Baadshah quietly meets Sheetal, Bachchan's Secretary, by dropping her document on the floor at gun point he informs her about the plan to assassinate her Boss and the desperate situation that he is in, asking her to save the life of her Boss. After being told that the security team is corrupt and unable to convey the bad news personally to her boss the terrified Sheetal decides to take Baadshah up to meet the CM's husband, Tyagraj Bachchan, to tell him about the danger his wife is in. However, he kills Sheetal and it is revealed that he is behind the plan to kill his wife. Thapar and Khanna tell Baadshah that he has another chance to kill Bachchan during a speech scheduled at 2 pm.

Baadshah secretly writes a message in a note for Bachchan which Seema (under disguise as a hotel worker) places inside the CM's speech script folder while in her room. With Seema's assistance, Baadshah escapes the building via a washroom window to go rescue his friends and the child. He succeeds but Baadshah and his friends realize that they don't know how to defuse or remove the bomb strapped to the child, and so Baadshah must head back into the hotel. He returns to the washroom just before Khanna realizes he left. It's 2 pm and they now head to the speech hall. Baadshah is confident that Bachchan will not come down after reading his message but is shocked to see Bachchan arrive at the hall and knows he must make a move as Thapar still has control of the detonator. Baadshah slowly approaches Bachchan as she arrives at the podium and discovers the note written to her. She reads it and learns of the assassination plan and that the mastermind behind it is her husband, who lied to her about Sheetal's disappearance. She learns that Baadshah will have to shoot her if she comes down for her speech. Bachchan notices Baadshah coming towards the front and knows what he is being compelled to do.

In a climactic moment, Baadshah pulls out his gun and opens fire upon the security personnel, triggering a shootout. He manages to wipe them all out, including Khanna. Thapar realizes he has the chance to shoot Bachchan himself and fires at her. Her personal bodyguard tries to cover her and they both fall to the ground. She survives, much to the shock of her husband who tries to flee but is stopped by CBI officers. Thapar is also shocked when she sees Bachchan stand up and he tries to shoot her once again but Baadshah interferes and disarms him. Thapar then pulls out his bomb remote and intends on detonating it because Baadshah has ruined his plan. Just then, Thapar's van enters the room and he is shocked to see Baadshah's friends and CBI agents appear from it, along with the child and the bomb. They all dare Thapar to detonate the bomb now. Thapar flees and is pursued by Baadshah while Dr. Surti works on the bomb. He manages to remove it and they throw it out of the building. Thapar escapes and finds Rani and Moti outside and tells them to detonate the bomb once he is inside his car. However, he is killed when the bomb detonates under his car.

In the end, Baadshah is seen to have a booming business back at his detective agency. Ram Lal receives a call from President Bill Clinton, offering $1,000,000 for assistance with the "Monica Case". Baadshah announces his prioritization of "wife duty", refusing the case and disappearing with Seema.

In 1647, Tanhaji's father, Kaloji Malusare trains him in sword-fighting, later succumbing to a Mughal plunder in Umrat. 17 years later in 1664, a now-adult Tanhaji with his younger brother Suryaji, commands Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Maratha Army to attack an intruding Mughal cavalry.

In 1665, the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb dispatches one of his generals the king of Amer Jai Singh to capture Shivaji to stop his rapid imperial expansion in Deccan, thus he captured Shivaji along side his 23 forts under his control. Later, the Mughal general Beshak Khan orders a quick vacation of the strategic fortress Kondhana, insulting Jijabai, Shivaji's mother, who swears to remain barefoot until the Marathas recapture the fort. Tanhaji is informed about the treaty as well. Five years later, Shivaji Raje's spy informs him about Aurangzeb's plan to assign the Kondhana fort to his Rajput general Udaybhan Rathod and to use it as a base for Aurangzeb's southern imperial expansion. Raje plans to recapture Kondhana, considering himself to lead the campaign as Tanhaji, though an able general, can't be employed due to his son Rayba's upcoming wedding. Meanwhile, Tanhaji celebrates Holi with his family. Marathas begin their war preparations and Shivaji warns his generals to keep Tanhaji from knowing about the campaign. Tanhaji arrives at Rajgad for inviting Shivaji to Rayba's wedding. Chandraji Pisal, a Maratha general, who's attempting to usurp Shivaji Raje's throne, discloses to Tanhaji the secret plan at his nephew Chultya's recommendation. Tanhaji convinces Shivaji and Jijabai to permit him to lead the campaign and postpones Rayba's wedding.

Elsewhere, Udaybhan reaches Burhanpur while the Marathas discuss his route possibilities. Tanhaji coins an attack plan but Pisal sends Chultya to warn Udaybhan about this, his scheme being that of sabotaging Tanhaji's mission and getting him killed so as to make Shivaji Raje appoint him as in-charge of the mission. Pisal intends to become influential enough to overthrow Shivaji Raje and join hands with Udaybhan. Udaybhan is also bringing an imprisoned Kamla Devi en route, the sister of his Rajput general Jagat Singh. Chultya informs Udaybhan about Tanhaji's attack plan and he tricks Tanhaji into attacking Maratha soldiers disguised under Mughal attire. Elsewhere, Udaybhan reaches Kondhana and aims a huge cannon at Rajgad, threatening Shivaji's safety. Dejected, Tanhaji reaches Kondhana alone to learn about a secret thief-entrance inside. Udaybhan kills a guard for disobeying the security protocol. Tanhaji recovers his dead remains and motivates the villagers to betray Udaybhan. He is recommended to participate in a Shivratri event on Kondhana where he kills Chultya for betrayal. Tanhaji is imprisoned and tortured by Udaybhan. Jagat Singh secretly releases Tanhaji, revealing Udaybhan's plan to marry his sister. Tanhaji promises to release them from Udaybhan's clutches. Tanhaji escapes from the thief-entrance and returns to Umrat where he informs his people about the upcoming war. Savitri Bai , Tanhaji's wife, worries about her husband's life and son's wedding. Tanhaji convinces Savitri Bai that everything will be alright, which she replies to by asking him what he wants from her when he returns. Tanhaji makes Savitri Bai promise to wear bridal attire while waiting for him.

Udaybhan hangs the guards responsible for Tanhaji's escape and Jagat Singh agrees to get his sister married to Udaybhan on Ashtami's eve, thus convincing her to fake the marriage preparation until Tanhaji arrives. Tanhaji now plans to directly attack Kondhana during Ashtami night on February 4, 1670. He scales the fort through various entrances and attacks the Mughal army. The confusion allows Jagat and Kamla Devi to escape. Udaybhan is alerted and Tanhaji dies in the ensuing battle, although he captures Kondhana before killing Udaybhan. Shivaji's army conquers Kondhana but he ends up breaking into tears over Tanhaji's death. Later, He personally oversees Rayba's marriage while Savitri Bai fulfil's her promise to Tanhaji by adorning herself as a bride behind closed doors as she awaits his return, and Aurangzeb's dream of winning southern India remains unfilled for 18 years until he himself came and retook it from Marathas.

The Mumbai Police officers arrest three young terror suspects and try to interrogate them but get no information. 

Karanveer Singh Dogra "Karan" (Vidyut Jammwal) is called to help the police, but one of the suspects kills himself. Upon investigating further, Karan learns the suspects received money and VHS tapes containing a terrorist's message. Also, one of the suspects talks repeatedly about 9/11, which is decoded as an attack on India on the day of Diwali. Further learning the recordings were shot by a camera in London, Karan decides to go undercover along with Bhavna Reddy (Adah Sharma), who assisted him on his previous mission. Posing as a married couple, they arrive in London where Mallika Sood (Angira Dhar), a British Intelligence officer, picks them up and takes them to their work station where another agent named Armaan Akhtar (Sumeet Thakur) assists them. On the other hand, the British Muslim terrorist Buraq Ansari (Gulshan Devaiah) forces his son Abeer (Atharva Vishwakarma) to watch him kill a man. Abeer's mother and Buraq's ex-wife Zahira (Feryna Wazheir) wants to contact the police but is threatened by Buraq. Learning two Indian agents have arrived in London to capture him, Buraq enlists his agents' help to track them while Karan and his team go through the same process to follow Buraq's agents. While pursuing a suspect, Karan meets Zahira and Abeer and soon gets involved in a bike chase with the suspect, resulting in the latter's accidental death. Karan retrieves his phone and answers Buraq's call, further telling him he would soon visit the dead suspect's house. Karan and the team arrive at the home, but outside it is stopped by Buraq's goons. A fight breaks out, resulting in Karan getting thrown out of the house by an explosion. The video goes viral, and so does Bhavna's tweet supporting Karan.

It is soon revealed to be a part of Karan's plan when he releases a video challenging Buraq without disclosing his identity. When Buraq's DNA matches a murder suspect, Karan and his team rush to Buraq's restaurant but find him gone. Realizing he would have gone to pick up his son from school, Karan arrives there and challenges him before the latter disappears. Back in Mumbai, the two suspects are reformed by a Muslim saint. Buraq is unwilling to let go of his son and soon finds himself exposed when Karan holds a press conference with Abeer and Zahira. While the mother and son are being escorted safely to India's airport, Buraq's henchmen attack the vehicles. Bhavna is knocked out in the crash while Karan and Mallika fight off the henchmen. However, Zahira and Abeer are kidnapped, and Mallika is informed about Buraq's surrender. Karan tries to interrogate him but ends up using force, due to which he and Bhavna are ordered to leave England within 24 hours or face deportation. Buraq is freed due to making a deal with the BI; he gives them evidence for a previous attack in exchange for his freedom. On his way to a safe house, Buraq asks the officers to stop at a mosque so that he can pray. He switches places with one of his henchmen and kills Zahira. Realizing the attack would be not on Diwali, Karan decides to continue alone but is joined by his team. Through Abeer's tablet, the safe house is located and attacked by Karan and the group. Following the fight that leaves all the henchmen dead, Karan injects Buraq and takes him away as he is unconscious. Bhavna and Mallika rescue Abeer, while Karan is safely picked up by his agency's helicopter and escorted to India's cargo ship. With minimal time remaining for the attacks, Karan and the police try to find the targeted cities. Decoding "ALLAH" spoken repeatedly by Buraq, Karan finds the targeted towns and releases a video requesting India's Muslims to understand the value of religious unity. When Muslims gear up to face the terrorists, they are joined by the police officers, and terrorists are arrested. Karan kills Buraq and hands over Abeer to the dead suspect's father.

Madhav is a good basketball player who cannot speak English well. He gets accepted into University based on a sports quota where he meets Riya Somani, an upper-class young girl who is allowed temporary admission based on a sports quota. 

They become good friends and play basketball every evening on the college court. When Madhav tells his roommate Shailesh and friends about Riya, they push him to ask Riya out for a date, but she stops him and asks him just to be a friend. Madhav's friends still encourage him to pursue Riya in the hopes that she will eventually date him.

One day Madhav and Riya hang out at night. Madhav picks her up from her house, and after spending the night, when she comes back home, she kisses Madhav before entering her house.

When Madhav attends Riya's birthday, he questions her about the nature of their relationship. Uncomfortable, Riya says that she is not his girlfriend, but they can maybe reach a compromise since they have reached halfway, and she offers to be his "Half Girlfriend."

Madhav's mother runs a school in their village where only boys study because of girls' absence of toilets. Madhav learns that Bill Gates is coming to Patna and will be funding grants to schools. Madhav decides to apply for a grant, for which he goes to Chanakya hotel in Patna.

After the meeting, Madhav meets Riya, who was residing in the hotel and works for Closeup. They meet and hang out for some time, where Madhav comes to know that Riya has divorced because her husband and his mother tried to beat her. As Madhav needs to give a speech in English for Bill Gates, Riya helps him prepare for it. One day, he takes her to his house, where Madhav's mother asks her about her past- her marriage. She acts rudely with her upon knowing that she is a divorcee. A few days before the speech, when Riya had to go back to Patna, Madhav's mother requests her to stay away from Madhav. She, however, attends Madhav's speech, where he is successful in getting a grant from the Bill Gates Foundation. After the speech had ended, a small girl from the school hands her a Riya letter for Madhav. He learns from the letter that Riya has been diagnosed with blood cancer and will die in three months. She requests him not to search for her as she herself does not know where she will go. In the present day, Madhav is seen going to Riya's house to deliver her belongings to her mother, who starts crying on learning about Riya's disease. Madhav recalls that she wanted to become a singer at a bar in New York. Unprepared, Madhav goes to New York to visit his friend Shailesh.

Shailesh and his wife Rutvi learn about the whole incident and try to deviate Madhav's attention from Riya. Rutvi tries to set him up with Anshika, her friend. They spend some time together. Madhav tries to find Riya for three months continuously, and his time runs out. On the last day, when he was attending his farewell party, he saw a video where Anshika, who had fallen in love with him, thanked him for being a part of his life. While she thanked him over a song while sitting at a bar, Madhav sees a blurred picture of the singer who somewhat looked similar to Riya, and the song was the same as the one which Riya sang. Desperate, he runs for the café amidst falling snow and without any transport. Upon reaching the café, he requests the guard to allow him to enter. He enters the bar and finds out the singer is indeed Riya. Riya and Madhav reconcile and consummate their relationship.

A few years later, Madhav is seen talking to his mother about opening a new school, and Riya helps their daughter learn to play basketball, who is unable to do it. Riya tells her daughter never to give up.

Commando Karanveer Singh Dogra "Karan" is skilled in many aspects of survival, weaponry, and hand-to-hand combat.

 He is on a mission to eradicate black money, which has been siphoned to banks along with his gang. He goes to Vicky Chaddha's house, where his wife Maria reveals that they didn't have a life like this in the past during nighttime. The film flashes to a flashback where his husband was forced to do all this because when he declined to do a dangerous job, the very next day, a bomb blast occurred where Vicky was saved, but their daughter Tara died. Very soon, Maria kills her husband and says that she is the real Vicky Chaddha. Karan and his gang follow Vicky Chaddha and finally find her transferring money to an account. Karan beats up all the army in her team but doesn't stop the money transfer. It is then revealed that he changed the history in which the money was scheduled to the transferred and the replaced account, which will help the poor people. He said this was planned on the very first day. When Vicky says that police cannot arrest her, Bhavna Reddy shoots Vicky and gets out of there. While Karan and Bhavna will be together, a phone call arrives where Karan says he is waiting for a new mystery to arrive.

During a dark night in Iraq, an American journalist types a warning message to CIA before he is slaughtered by some ISIS (ISC) guards. 

While carrying a rally in Ikrit, ISC leader Abu Usman is shot in the arm by the Iraqi Army and taken to the city hospital. Abu Usman holds hostage of the Indian and Pakistani nurses and makes the hospital as his base. The US military decides to launch an airstrike at the city to kill Usman. Indian nurse Maria calls the Indian Ambassador to Iraq at the Indian Embassy in Baghdad, informing about the incident.

8 years after the events of the previous film, Tiger and Zoya are revealed to have been leading a peaceful life, in a secluded place, away from the prying eyes of both the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Officially declared dead in the files of their respective agencies, Tiger and Zoya are now married and have a son, Junior.

The CIA give RAW chairman Shenoy seven days of time to rescue the nurses after which they will hold the airstrike. Shenoy feels that only Tiger would be able to rescue the nurses. Based on the clues available, Shenoy locates Tiger and Zoya in the snowy area of Innsbruck. Several days later, Tiger is briefed by Shenoy, who informs him about the abduction of the nurses. However, Shenoy only tells Tiger about the 25 Indian nurses held in Iraq. Though Tiger is reluctant at first, he sets to carry the mission after Zoya's insistence.

Tiger travels to Syria and assembles his own gang of RAW members consisting of Azaan, an expert sniper, Namit, an experienced bomb disposer and Rakesh, a hacker. They reach an oil refinery controlled by Al-Amir Baghdawi (Sal Yusuf), ISC's second-in-command, but face difficulty after the arrival of Firdauz aka 'Tohbaan' ('snake' in Arabic), who checks the workers. One day, Tiger rescues Hassan (Jineet Rath), a child who is sent by Usman as a human bomb. That night, Tiger and his gang set a controlled explosion in the refinery and pretend to get burned so that they are taken to the hospital.

En route, they are joined by ISI members Captain Abrar and Captain Javed. Zoya also comes along with Abrar and Javed and reveals to Tiger that along with 25 Indian nurses, 15 Pakistani nurses are held hostage. Tiger then declares that ISI and RAW will work together to rescue the nurses. Meanwhile, Firdauz reveals that he is a secret RAW agent. They go to the hospital while Zoya leaves Tiger to first kill Baghdavi and his troops which she does with the help of some Syrian girls.

At the hospital, Rakesh poisons the food. On the day of the airstrike, Usman's troops are food poisoned. Tiger fights the troops but finds Usman with Zoya which causes him to surrender. Tiger is tortured in a gas chamber but later escapes and rescues the nurses. Azaan dies during the fight. As they escape, Firdauz and Karan who is also a RAW member and Shenoy's most trusted person crashes an oil tanker which kills ISC members.

Tiger stabs and wounds Usman along with Sayem Noman in a fierce encounter and moves to rescue Zoya who insists Tiger to leave her for the sake of Junior. A missile, launched by American drones, blows the chamber. Tiger dresses everyone in the execution robes for a safe passage out of Ikrit. Javed raises Indian and Pakistani flags above the bus with the nurses keeping Azaan's promise while Firdauz takes Usman to a desert and shoots him.

One year later, Shenoy is called by Tiger from Greece. A flashback shows that Tiger broke the chain and rescued Zoya and escaped, knowing that RAW and ISI wouldn't leave them if they returned with the nurses. It's revealed that Tiger and Zoya have adopted Hassan. Though Tiger goes into hiding once again, he assures Shenoy that he will always be there for his country.

A team of special cops are investigating the mysterious murder of a high profile victim, who is the daughter of a retired justice.  The Superior Officers don't favour Manoj Bajpayee but the retired justice Choudhary requests them to hire ACP Avinash Verma for the case as he will solve the case quickly and raptly. Pooja Choudhary, the daughter of Justice Choudhary was found on a tourist site on a hill top by four college students. The was a big wound on her head. The forensic department had found some bits of copper on the wound. This indicates that whatever equipment was used for killing her was a copper one. Also as there were no indications of sexual harassments, justifies that it was not rape case. If it was not a rape case then it means that due to some personal reason the killer had killed Pooja. There were no blood scattered from Pooja's head on the surrounding spot she was found in which indicates that she was killed in a different place and her body was dumped in the spot she was found. Pooja last visited her best friend, Kavita's house in the hope to meet her and show something. But due to an exhibition in Pune, Kavita had gone to Pune and Pooja had spend the night in Kavita's house as it was very late. Kavita's husband Ravi was an MLA. Havildar Ishar Singh is a part of the Sikh Regiment of British Indian Army posted at Gulistan fort along the Indian Afghan border. 

A British officer is jealous of him because of his superior fighting skills and thinks little of the native Indians, deeming them to be cowards. While just returning from a border patrol, the troop sees a group of Afghan tribesmen led by a Mullah named Saidullah trying to kill a married Afghan woman who does not acknowledge her forced marriage. Ishar Singh intervenes, fights off the tribesmen and rescues the woman by killing her husband, thereby disobeying his immediate superior.

Once the troop reaches the base fort, the British officer reports Ishar Singh's disobedience to his commanding officer who sits at the nearby Lockhart fort. The Afghans then attack the Gulistan fort, but are stopped by Ishar Singh who fights valiantly, killing many Afghans. He is punished and transferred to Saragarhi Fort that sits between Gulistan and Lockhart fort and enables communication between them. When Ishar Singh's transfer orders are issued, he travels to Saragarhi fort and upon arriving there finds the troop in a mess. He enforces discipline in the troop by punishing all to live without food for an entire week. The troop initially is furious but later respects Ishar Singh on learning that he too was living without food. Meanwhile, Saidullah, forms an alliance between the Afghan tribes and motivates them to mount an attack on the Indian territories as a unified force. Ishar Singh and Lal Singh go to a nearby village in search of their informant who hadn't reported to them for over three days.

The British Commanding Officer Col. John Haughton from Lockhart fort sees the Afghan Forces marching towards Sargarhi and alerts Ishar. Ishar and his battalion find some ten thousand tribesmen encircling the fort. The Mullah, with the entire Afghan army at his back, kills the woman Ishar Singh had rescued earlier in front of the Saragarhi Fort. Despite the commanding officer's orders to abandon the fort and flee, Ishar Singh and his men decide to fight till their death. Ishar Singh deploys his force in position. Khuda Daad volunteers to fight but Ishar Singh asks him to instead provide water to the injured soldiers (Including the Afghans). The Afghans initiate the battle, and Bhagwan Singh is the first to be killed. Gurmukh Singh being an inexperienced soldier, is unable to fight, due to which Ishar Singh asks him to keep the CO updated regarding the battle, and decides to prolong the battle so as to prevent the Afghans from advancing to the Gulistan and Lockhart forts. As the battle prolongs, Lal Singh alone fights the Afghans outside the fort and dies while asking one of the sepoys to close the gate to the fort. Meanwhile, the Afghans manage to destroy the back wall of the fort using explosives.

Ishar Singh remembers his wife Jeevani one last time after removing the stripes from his uniform and starts fighting the Afghans with a red-hot sword, before he gets fatally stabbed. Saidullah kills Khuda Daad before himself being stabbed to death by Ishar while trying to remove his turban. Ishar's bravery impresses an Afghan chieftain who orders his men not to touch any Sikh's turban. One of the Afghan chieftains named Gul Badshah, orders the signalling post to be lit up so Gurmukh Singh's painful screams can be heard as a consolation. As the Afghans set the post on fire, Gurmukh Singh emerges with his body on fire. He chants "Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akaal" thrice, grabs Gul Badshah and triggers the grenades attached to his body, resulting in a huge explosion. The shout echoes and reaches both the nearby forts. The Sikh soldiers present there also start chanting in the name of their Guru. The surviving Afghans loot the fort and eventually set it on fire. The British Parliament honours the martyrs with a two-minute silence and posthumously awards them the Indian Order of Merit, at that time the highest gallantry award an Indian soldier could receive, with the Victoria Cross being the corresponding one.

Ranveer "Ronnie" Chaturvedi lives with his elder brother Vikram Charan Chaturvedi. Ronnie has been protective towards him since childhood, especially after their father Charan Chaturvedi's death. Ronnie is offered a job in the police force, but refuses because he has 33 cases registered against him all for saving Vikram and convinces him to take on the job. A timid and reluctant Vikram becomes a cop.

 When a hostage situation arises, Vikram is assigned the job and is terrified to face the criminals, but Ronnie accompanies him, fighting off the goons and helping rescue the hostages. He doesn't take the credit and this process continues with Vikram getting popular among the public and his department after each case. Ronnie later falls in love with a quirky young woman named Siya, and they get their respective siblings Vikram and Ruchi married to each other. One day, Vikram is assigned to go for routine paperwork in Syria. Upon arriving, Vikram chats with Ronnie over a video call but is suddenly beaten and kidnapped by terrorist Abu Jalal Gaza's men who break into his hotel room and Ronnie watches helplessly as Vikram begs for Ronnie's help

Ronnie and Siya travel to Syria, where the police refuse to help them. They meet Akhtar Lahori, who helps them track Vikram and his captors. They go to Vikram's hotel while the cops start looking for the trio. In Vikram's room, Ronnie finds Vikram's damaged phone and escapes with Siya and Akhtar before the cops can catch them. The trio finds the attacker, resulting in a chase. The exhausted attacker agrees to help before being hit by a truck and dying. Siya retrieves the attacker's phone and texts a goon named IPL (Inder Paheli Lamba) to meet at a hotel. Abu Jalal Gaza, the mastermind, arrives to avenge his brother, the attacker's death. The main cop who supports Ronnie captures IPL while Abu Jalal escapes. Fearing betrayal from IPL since he's been arrested, Abu Jalal orders his men to kill him. Ronnie and the team cleverly stage a series of events that lead to Abu's men believing they've been betrayed by IPL. They attack him, and upon being rescued by Ronnie, IPL decides to help him.

Ronnie single-handedly battles Abu's army before going to rescue Vikram and the hostages. IPL sacrifices himself and Abu agrees to free everyone but captures Siya. Ronnie fights Abu's men, but as Vikram starts getting enraged to see Ronnie getting brutally beaten up, Ronnie stops fighting back. He is stabbed and nearly killed, causing a transformation in Vikram, who jumps out of the cell and brutally fights off everyone, finally impaling Abu on steel rods. Vikram and Siya try to revive Ronnie, and as Abu emerges to attack them from behind, Ronnie wakes and kills him.

Returning to India, Vikram is honored for his bravery while Ronnie imagines their father, a cop, saluting and hugging him for keeping his promise.

The film starts with martial arts champion Raghav Shetty kidnapping Sia Khurana from her film's set in Hyderabad and taking her to Bangkok. Sia's father, P.P. Khurana, goes to government offices and the police for help, but no one is ready to assist them since Raghav is an influential man. 

Khurana then turns to Sia's ex-boyfriend, Ranveer 'Ronnie' Pratap Singh. In a flashback, Ronnie and Sia meet on a train. Raghav sees Sia at the train station and starts to like her. He tells his men to get information about her. Ronny visits the martial arts school of a certain Guruswamy in Kerala. In a letter to Guruswamy, Ronnie's father explains that Ronnie is a Baaghi (rebel) and asks him to make Ronnie a good human being. Ronnie and Sia fall in love, and Sia gives him a ring she got from her father, asking him always to keep it. Raghav asks for Sia's hand from Khurana, and Khurana is so lost by greed when he sees how much money Raghav offers for Sia. He agrees to hand Sia over to Raghav, but when he sees that Ronnie has Sia's ring, he realizes she is in love with Ronny. He informs Raghav, who decides to kill Ronny. Ronnie beats up Raghav's men when they manhandle Subbu, a mute little boy Ronnie is close to, only for Raghav to get him arrested later on. Guruswamy tries to persuade Raghav, his son, to stop pursuing Sia, but Raghav poisons and kills him to get him out of the way. Ronnie is heartbroken to hear of Guruswamy's death since he had seen him as a father figure. Khurana then creates a misunderstanding between Sia and Ronnie to separate them, which works and the two part ways. In the present, Ronnie reaches Bangkok and visits Raghav's fight club, beating the most potent fighter there to get Raghav's attention. The next day, Ronnie breaks into the house of Raghav's right-hand man, Biju, and threatens Biju's wife at gunpoint, forcing him to reveal Sia's location. Finding out she was at the hospital, Ronnie saves Sia and escapes with her under both of them being disguised as a doctor and nurse. The two stop at an island on their way back to India, where Sia discovers her father's deceit when she sees that Ronny is still wearing her ring. The couple reconciles, but Raghav and his men attack them. Biju shoots Ronnie, who falls off a cliff. Raghav takes Sia back to his place. It is then revealed that Ronny is alive. It turns out that Biju had used blank bullets in his gun, sparing him as Ronnie had spared his wife's life earlier. Raghav kills Biju when Biju says that he believes Ronny to be right. Ronnie storms Raghav's building and single-handedly fights off all of the killers and swordsmen in Raghav's employ. He reaches Raghav, who initially overpowers him, but when Raghav reveals that he was the one who murdered Guruswamy, Ronny becomes enraged and uses Guruswamy's signature moves to kill Raghav. In the end, Ronnie, now happily together with Sia, becomes the new teacher in Guruswamy's school, where a statue of Guruswamy now stands.

Abhinav "Chintu" Tyagi is an ordinary, middle-class man from Kanpur, and a government engineer in the Public Works Department. He has been married to Vedika Tripathi (Bhumi Pednekar), a physics tuition teacher from Lucknow, for three years (acording to the time in the story). 

Chintu is happy in Kanpur, but he is harassed by his controlling parents for not planning a child, and by Vedika who wants to move to a big city. He often seeks advice from his PWD colleague and childhood friend Fahim Abdul Rizvi.

Bored in his day-to-day life, Chintu suddenly finds comfort in Tapasya Singh, a young aspiring fashion designer from Delhi he met at his office, who is related to his boss and briefly came to select a plot for starting her fashion business. From the day Tapasya compliments him about his smile, Chintu finds himself drawn towards Tapasya and decides to enjoy his life. At a hotel pool, he lies to her that Vedika is having an affair with a certain Rakesh Yadav, who is actually a student of her class besotten with her. Fahim is peeved when he comes to know of the matter, and laments that, in trying to save Chintu repeatedly from various situations, he will himself fall into serious trouble.

One day, Chintu is having lunch with Tapasya in his office, when Vedika calls him to tells him that she is arriving with her own lunch. With Fahim's help, Chintu successfully wards off Tapasya in time. On another day, Chintu takes Tapasya out for lunch to a mall, but when he hears that Vedika is shopping at the same mall for her cousin Kanupriya's wedding, he takes Tapasya to another mall for lunch followed by a bowling session, only for Vedika to catch the two together from afar. She keeps the secret of his infidelity to herself.

Seeing him lying to her of throwing her off the scent, Vedika leaves home early to attend Kanupriya's wedding. There she discovers her ex-boyfriend Durgesh "Doga" Kanojia, a local bad boy whom she had left for Chintu, and the two resolve to leave the country. Meanwhile, Chintu goes to Tapasya's home in Delhi and meets her friends. They go to a nightclub and party; upon returning home, she seduces a drunken Chintu and is ready to kiss him, but Chintu is held by his conscience.

Chintu realises he has wronged Vedika, but it is too late, as when she returns, she tells him that she is leaving him and knows of his infidelity. He gets mad at Fahim when he reveals that his ex-girlfriend Neha had cheated on him with Fahim, and ditched him without a reason. It is then that he realises how much he loves her. A distraught Chintu and Fahim visit Vedika's parents but they give them her letter, wherein she states that she is eloping with Doga, having made a mistake by leaving him. At Doga's travel agency, the two are roughed up by Doga's henchmen, but the police lets them go. When he visits Tapasya at her home and warns her that she cannot take Vedika's place in his life, she asks him why he chooses to remain unhappy when she is there for him. Working himself up in a fit of rage while drunk, he smashes Doga's shop and is arrested, but Fahim pays for his bail.

One morning, Rakesh arrives with Fahim to find a morose and depressed Chintu at his home and informs him that Vedika is departing to Canada for good. The three rush to the Lucknow airport, with Chintu's family and the police in hot pursuit. At the airport, Chintu finds Vedika, Tapasya and Doga. He tries to stop them, but Tapasya spares him, saying that she will not slap him no matter how much she wants to, because he did not get intimate with her while in Delhi. He finds out that it is Doga who is going to Canada and that this was Doga's plan to make him realise Vedika's worth. Vedika forgives him and they reconcile.

Eventually another girl, Neha Khanna, enters his office; he initially stares at her her but restrains himself and refers her to another department. As she goes out the door, he calls out her name while she calls him a 'weirdo' to herself.
