Rashan Wijemanna who nicknamed "Rush" is a son of a wealthy businessman named Sunil Wijemanna. He grows up with a possessive attitude, and is almost considered as a psychopath by the audience. Rush goes to trip to Kandy with his best friend Rashantha and other friends. They stay at a hotel. One Day, Rashan went to a gift shop, where he breaks a gift which he likes solely as it had already been brought by someone else. He pays the owner to cover the damages but responds with a negative tagline - "If I can't get it, nobody can". On that night, He meets a young girl named Pooja in same hotel and it is love at first sight for Rashan. Pooja is injured in an accident and Rashan's best friend Rashantha Saparamadu who nicknamed "Shan" rescues her by donating blood which witnessed by Pooja's father, Prof. Madugalle. Being unconscious, Pooja does not know the face of her savior, only the name "Rashantha Saparamadu".

After she recovers, Pooja comes to Colombo to meet Rashantha Saparamadu and stays in her uncle's house. However, Rush who needs her at any cost, pretends to be Rashantha Saparamadu and makes advantage of her soft corner. He also manages to hide her from actual Rashantha. One day, Pooja and Rush go to theater to watch a movie, but he unknowingly comes to know that Pooja and Shan already know each other during their music project. He gets angry and breaks the ice creams brought for them.

One day, Shan comes to know about Pooja's and Rush's affair and greets them. Pooja's father Prof. Madugalla also comes to know about the affair and gets happy thinking she is in love with one who saved her. Rush invites Madugalla to meet at hotel. While Pooja is away from the home for a small work, Rush meets Madugalla and admits the truth to him, shocking Madugalla. Madugalla gets a heartattack and dies in front of Rush. CID officer Radeesh begin to investigate the case with police.

One day, Shan comes to Kandy finishing music audition, which he had missed when he donated blood to Pooja. Rush arranges gest room for him but fears that he might find the truth. He goes to the hospital where Pooja was admitted and tears the certificate of admission. Shan sees this, and they go to a nearby hill station. Shan starts arguing with Rush for cheating his name. Rush apologizes and admits the truth, but Shan continues argument. He beats Rush but Shan falls from a high cliff. Having no way, Rush sacrifices his life for his friend's sake. Shocked by this incident, Rush decides to transform himself into a good gentleman and thereby leaves his behavior as that of a psychopath. Rush then sincerely starts to take care of Pooja who misses her father now.

Meanwhile, CID Radeesh come to know that the real murderer of Prof. Madugalle and Shan is Rush. Pooja also comes to know about this while she was in jungle with Rush. Pooja gets scared and runs to jungle. Rush searches for her and is finally beaten by Pooja for killing her father. However, the police shoots Rush, and he gets unconsicinous, unable to bear the pain. Pooja bursts in tears. However, Rush admits to hospital and CID Radeesh learns that Prof. Madugalle had died from a heartattack and Rush is innocent. Shan who stays in same hospital, forgives Rush to his every mistakes. Radeesh and police apologizes from Rush while Rush's father also in there. The film ends with Rush and Pooja's wedding.

Ram Mohan, a university professor visits psychiatrist Dr. Satya Kishore and explains his son Santosh's sex addiction and need for counseling. Later, Santosh visits the psychiatrist and explains his past. Santosh, a civil engineer, believes he has a small penis, based on few incidents from his childhood until college. During the same time, his father perceives that Santosh is a sex addict. Santosh is also part of a social media group called SDG and follows different methods, medicines, and devices suggested by members for penis enlargement, but all efforts go in vain. Finally, he opens up about his problem with his colleague for which Sudarshan suggests going for penis enlargement surgery and arranges an appointment with a Urologist. However, the urologist suggests to Santosh that it's a high-risk surgery with a success rate of 1-2%. Alternatively, Sudarshan takes him to a prostitute's house in order to remove Santosh's stigmas and fears. Unfortunately, the house is raided and Santosh gets caught. The cop warns Santosh and scolds Ram Mohan about their upbringing.

Enraged, Ram Mohan arranges an alliance with Amrutha. On the day of the meeting at Amrutha's house, Santosh comes to know that the girl has a code of expressing her rejection by spilling coffee on the guy. Santosh falls in love with Amrutha and Amrutha also knew Santosh previously based on an incident where Santosh reveals his positive mindset towards women. Amrutha instantly likes Santosh but accidentally spills coffee on Santosh's pants. Santosh considers this as a rejection and leaves the girl's place. Amrutha meets Santosh again and tries to clarify as a result both start liking each other. Amrutha expresses to Santosh that she has big dreams to which Santosh perceives that Amrutha likes everything big and his small one cannot satisfy her wishes. He tries to explain to Amrutha his problem but fails. But Amrutha likes Santosh's honesty and the marriage gets fixed. Later he decides to get the risky penis enlargement surgery for Amrutha, for which he loans around 15lakh rupees from a local goon. On the day of surgery, the urologist dies in the operation theater due to his heart condition while Santosh is under anesthesia, thus Santosh doesn't get his surgery done as well cannot get back the money for at least 1 month.

As the marriage date approaches, Santosh decides to reveal the truth to Amrutha. They meet at a joggers park on Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, Santosh's father comes to the same park, seeing Santosh and Amrutha go behind a tree. But they are caught by the right-winged Hindu group that doesn't encourage Valentine's Day. They forcibly get Santosh married to Amrutha and is all covered on live tv which becomes an embarrassment for both families. They come to terms with it and plan a grand reception. During the reception, Amrutha gets to meet all of Santosh's maternal cousins including a Saptagiri who is mad about Santosh, a cousin with suicidal tendencies due to love failure, a Tik tok addict girl, and a grandfather who is obsessed with Pooja Hegde. They are all not liked by Santosh's father and never allows them to visit his house.

The families plan the first night for the couple, however, Santosh tries to delay it due to his problem. He tricks all his cousins to stay for the next 10 days thus delaying it. He also foils the honeymoon trip sponsored by his company by deliberately missing the train. He also comes to know from his social media group that a new Ayurvedic medicine has come for penis enlargement. Sudarshan goes to get the medicine and brings Sanyaasini to personally deliver the medicine. Shraddha Das says she has to stay at Santosh's house to deliver the medicine personally to him. Sanyaasini instructs Santosh that the medicine is a 7-day course and has to be taken daily at 3 am. She also warns him about the side- effects like excess hunger, rage, and severe stomach ache. Santosh accepts it and starts taking the medicine personally prepared by her. The suicidal cousin along with Ram Mohan suspects that Santosh has an affair with the Shraddha Das. The cousin tries to explain to Amrutha but she never believes it. Side effects have a toll on Santosh's married life, especially with the rage. Sanyaasini also appreciates Santosh's love for Amrutha because he is the only person who has continuously taken the medicine for 4 days while the rest stopped it within 2 days. On the final day of the course, the medicine gets mixed in lunch preparations thus consumed by all cousins they fight among each other as a side effect. Later, Santosh gets intimate with Amrutha and he realized that Amrutha did not complain about his size.

Things go well and Amrutha's family comes to visit her. Unfortunately, the cop who caught Santosh in the raid is Amrutha's uncle and he reveals his encounter with Santosh and his father. Amrutha's family felt cheated and they take her away. Santosh tries to reconcile with her for the past 3 months but the family doesn't allow him to meet and tries to break the alliance. The psychiatrist listens to Santosh's issue and then he explains that his fears and stigmas are rather mental-oriented and it doesn't have to do anything with his penis size. He suggests Santosh stop worrying about society's perception, stop believing in all kinds of medicines for penis enlargement and immediately meet Amrutha, tell her the truth come or may, and apologize to her. The psychiatrist later meets Ram Mohan and blames him that he failed to understand his son's mental issue and address it. As a result, Santosh alone had to fight his own stigma of a small penis for the past 20 years and not committing suicide as a saving grace.

Finally, Santosh goes to Amrutha's place, takes a loudspeaker, and expresses his love for her, his fear of having a small penis, but he doesn't care about society anymore. Santosh and Amrutha reconcile, their marriage is saved and have a son. One day the son asks Santosh how are kids born. Realizing his own experience as a child when he asked a similar question to his father, Santosh decides not to have such a situation with his son. So he starts explaining to his son in a way kids really understand and in a less controversial manner.

Usnavi de la Vega tells children the story of Washington Heights. He begins in summer, introducing: Abuela Claudia, the matriarch of the neighborhood who raised him, Kevin Rosario, who runs the taxi company, his employee, Benny, the salon ladies Daniela, Carla, Cuca, and Vanessa, Usnavi's love interest, and his cousin Sonny, who he employs.

Alejandro, an attorney, informs Usnavi that his late father's business in the Dominican Republic is for sale, which Usnavi dreams of reviving. Meanwhile, Kevin's daughter Nina returns from Stanford. After a quick reunion with Benny, she goes to find her father and tells him that she was unable to pay tuition, but he brushes her off, telling her not to worry.

Daniela's salon will soon be moving to the Bronx due to rising rent. Nina arrives for a treatment. Nina reveals that she has dropped out of Stanford, and leaves. Vanessa submits a rental application downtown, where she dreams of becoming a fashion designer. She is unable to provide a good credit check and her application is rejected. Disappointed, she heads back and drops by Usnavi's bodega, where Sonny asks her out on Usnavi's behalf.

Sonny learns a lottery ticket he sold won $96,000. Usnavi and the rest of the neighborhood fantasize about what they would do with the money, while Mr. Piraguero laments how Mister Softee is stealing his business. That weekend, Benny and Nina reminisce about their childhoods. She expresses her doubts and fears, but he reassures her that she is destined for greatness. Meanwhile, Usnavi talks to Sonny's father about letting him go with him to the Dominican Republic, but Sonny's father says he and Sonny are undocumented and cannot leave.

That evening, Kevin reveals he sold the business to pay for Nina's tuition. Outraged, Nina refuses the money and storms out. Usnavi and Vanessa head to the club for their date, along with Benny and Nina. At the club, Usnavi is nervous and aloof, and Vanessa dances with other men to make him jealous. Usnavi finds another woman and tries to make her jealous. The power goes out, and Sonny and Graffiti Pete light up fireworks, illuminating the neighborhood. Vanessa and Usnavi argue, and she angrily rejects him.

Lying in bed, Abuela reminisces about her childhood in Cuba, and how she and her mother came to New York, enduring hardships to be where she is today. As she dies, the neighborhood comes together to mourn and sing her praises. At a protest for DACA, Nina learns that Sonny cannot go to college as he is an undocumented immigrant. She resolves to go back to university to find a way for undocumented children to find a pathway in life.

Usnavi discovers Vanessa's rental application that she had thrown away. He visits Daniela as she is preparing to move, asking her to co-sign on Vanessa's application. Afterwards, disappointed with the block's negativity over the blackout and Abuela's passing, Daniela rouses them into a celebration and the blackout ends.

A month later, Nina is about to return to Stanford, and she and Benny agree to pursue a long-distance relationship. Benny promises to find a way to join her in Palo Alto, as they kiss. As Usnavi prepares to leave for the Dominican Republic, he discovers that Abuela held the winning lottery ticket, and has passed it on to him. Vanessa shows up, having found out that Usnavi convinced Daniela to co-sign on her lease, and bought him a bottle of champagne to thank him. She suggests that Usnavi should stay, but he refuses. Distraught, she kisses him, lamenting that she was too late in realizing her feelings.

Usnavi gives Alejandro the ticket, telling him to use it for Sonny's DACA fees. The next morning, Usnavi runs into Vanessa. She takes him to his old bodega and shows him a new fashion line she created the previous night, having been inspired by Graffiti Pete's paint rags. On seeing Pete's murals celebrating Abuela, Usnavi has an epiphany to stay. The story returns to the present day, where Usnavi is revealed to be telling his story in the new shop that he and Vanessa built together, having married her, and one of the children is Usnavi's daughter. They dance and sing in the street.
