In 1927 (around a year and a half after the final events shown in the TV series), Buckingham Palace uses Royal Mail to inform Robert and Cora Crawley, the Earl and Countess of Grantham, that King George V and Queen Mary will visit Downton Abbey during a royal tour through Yorkshire. The Yorkshire leg of the tour is to consist of luncheon at Downton, a military parade in Yorkshire, and a formal dinner at Downton before the entourage moves on the next morning to Princess Mary at neighboring Harewood.

A mysterious stranger also arrives on the train that brings the Royal Mail to Yorkshire.

Upstairs and Downstairs are universally excited about the prestigious Royal visit, except for Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham. Violet is perturbed that her cousin Maud, Lady Bagshaw, who is Queen Mary's lady-in-waiting, is included in the tour. Robert is Maud's first cousin once-removed and her nearest relation, and Violet believes strongly that Robert should inherit Maud's valuable Brompton estate, but Maud has other plans.

The first wave of the royal household staff arrives. They include Mr Wilson, the Royal Page of the Backstairs; Miss Lawton, the Queen's dresser; and Richard Ellis, the King's valet. Wilson and Lawton are dismissive and arrogant toward the Downton servants and run rough-shod over Downton butler Thomas Barrow. By contrast, Ellis is decent, especially toward Barrow.

Upstairs, eldest Crawley daughter Lady Mary Talbot, concludes that Barrow is unable to manage a royal visit, so she asks Mr Carson, Downton's retired butler, to temporarily resume his duties. Barrow, strongly protesting, steps aside.

After Carson takes over, the remaining Royal advance people arrive - Mr Courbet, the chef, Mrs Webb, the housekeeper, four footmen, and two maids. Carson attempts to direct Courbet and Webb to the servant's entrance, but they walk past him and use the front door. Apparently the royal servants intend to completely supplant the Downton staff in serving the King and Queen, which is a great disappointment downstairs.

The mystery man on the train, Major Chetwode, arrives in Downton Village and seeks out Tom Branson, the Granthams' Irish son-in-law. Tom, a socialist, believes Chetwode is a detective assessing security (and him) for the royal visit.

Bertie and Edith (Crawley) Pelham, the Marquess and Marchioness of Hexham, arrive at Downton the day before the royal visit. That night the chairs for the parade seating arrive during heavy rain, and Mary leads a group effort to get the chairs in position while getting drenched.

The next morning, in brilliant sunshine, the King and Queen arrive at Downton. As all of the Downton residents stand in formation outside the Abbey, Mary notes, "The day has dawned and the weather proves conclusively that God is a monarchist." Carson responds, "Who would doubt it, milady?"

The King and Queen are introduced to the entire Crawley family. Then Violet and Maud exchange icy pleasantries. And finally, Tom has a chance encounter with Maud's maid, Lucy Smith, and there seems to be a spark.

During the subsequent luncheon at Downton, the King asks Bertie to accompany the Prince of Wales on a three-month African tour. The news distresses Lady Edith, the younger Crawley daughter, who tells Bertie she is pregnant and is due just as Bertie would depart. Bertie agrees to try to disengage from the tour.

Prior to the royal parade starting through Downton Village, Chetwode positions himself near where the King is awaiting the Royal Artillery, unaware that Tom has grown suspicious. As Chetwode aims a pistol at King George, Tom tackles Chetwode, pinning him to the ground, while Mary disarms him. The genuine royal detectives apprehend Chetwode, an Irish Republican sympathiser who erroneously assumed Tom was an ally.

After the parade, Tom encounters a sobbing woman on Downton's lawn, unaware she is Princess Mary. In the course of a solicitous conversation, he not only cheers her up, but provides her some words of wisdom that might salvage her foundering marriage to Lord Lascelles.

Meanwhile, Anna discovers Miss Lawton is stealing small objects from Downton Abbey. She demands their return, then pressures Lawton into altering an over-sized ballgown to fit Lady Edith after the wrong dress was mistakenly delivered to Downton, again saving the day for one of the Crawley daughters.

Anna and John Bates unite the staff into retaking control downstairs to defend Downton's honour. Barrow and Mr Ellis trick Mr Wilson into returning some royal household staff to London. Anna slips a strong sleeping aid into Courbet's tea, and Mr Wilson is "accidentally" locked inside his bedroom, allowing Mrs Patmore and Daisy to prepare the dinner, and Mr Carson and the three Downton footmen - Andy, Molesley moonlighting from his teaching gig, and Albert moonlighting from his hall boy gig - to wait at table. When the King praises the revised menu, Molesley impulsively blurts out that the Downton staff prepared the meal and are serving it. Robert apologises for Molesley's outburst, but the Queen graciously assures him they are accustomed to people behaving oddly around them.

That same evening, Barrow and Ellis go to York. While Ellis visits his parents, Barrow waits at a local pub. A man there invites Barrow to a hidden gay nightclub. Shortly after Barrow arrives, police raid the club. Ellis, who is secretly gay, uses his royal connection to secure Barrow's release. Afterwards, the two men develop a bond, indicating they will meet again.

Back at Downton, the inheritance conflict escalates as Isobel, Lady Merton, learns off-screen that Lucy is Maud's secret illegitimate daughter, which explains why she is Maud's heir. Isobel confronts Maud and urges her to inform Violet.

The next morning, assistant cook Daisy, who doubted if footman Andy was the right man for her, learns that Andy previously sabotaged the boiler repairs because he was jealous of Daisy having eyes for the boiler repairman. This jealousy prompts Daisy to admire Andy, and she begins planning their wedding.

Henry Talbot, Mary's husband, returns from abroad in time to accompany the family to Harewood House with the royal party. Mary, drained by the stress of the royal visit, asks Henry if they should consider downsizing from Downton, and Henry assures her that they are stuck (lovingly) with Downton.

During the ball at Harewood, Princess Mary informs her parents that Tom inspired her to remain with her husband, and asks the King to say something nice to Tom. The King walks over to Tom and says he wishes they had talked more at Downton because "I believe I have more than one reason to be grateful to you." Presumably he was referring to Tom's role in the foiled assassination attempt, although we weren't aware of any such briefing to the King.

Similarly, the King abruptly releases Bertie from the colonial tour, and we learn later that Cora had off-screen asked the Queen to intervene with the King.

Maud tells Violet about Lucy. Violet immediately schemes to unite the two households through Lucy and Tom when told they intend to correspond.

Mary privately queries her grandmother regarding her recent trip to London. Violet confides that medical tests have revealed she may die soon, but she assures a distraught Mary that Downton's legacy is safe in her hands.

Tom seeks out Lucy on the terrace and dances with her.

Mr Carson and Mrs Hughes ponder Downton's future in the modern era. Carson says, "Elsie, a hundred years from now Downton will still be standing, and the Crawley will still be here. And that is a promise." Mrs Hughes responds with, "We'll see, Charlie. We'll see."

Approximately four years following the battle in Russia, Dominic Toretto is now retired, settling down with Letty and his son Brian in Thailand. In the meantime, Roman and Tej are cooperating with Ramsey to manage their garage as Mia arrives occassionally to their assistance.

However, multiple allies to Dom amongst Ozuna are telling him that Leysa had arranged a meeting between them. Leaving Letty unknowingly that he meets Leysa, Dom hears from her that Cipher is still at large. While Dom insists he is not anymore a spy, Leysa shows him a photo of his little brother Jakob operating a heist.

Toretto leaves angrily, and, returns to Letty and Brian. Letty states she knows he went to see Leysa, and, they leave the household in the night time. Dominic encounters Agent Stasiak, strangling him only to be reunited with Mr. Nobody. Nobody states that he has been in contact with Leysa temporarily, using her to contact with Dom regarding Jakob whom lately has become known to most of the authorities as a mercenary, thief and driver.

Mr. Nobody adds and confirms Cipher's existence at large, revealing a newly-developed weapon system known as Project Aries, which enables its user to control the global computers and weapons systems, leading Toretto relucantly agreeing to reunite with his family.

Cipher, hiding in the United Kingdom, arranges a meeting with Jakob. Using her skills, she manipulates him furtherly against Dom and tells him she would grant him the access for Project Aries in exchange for surprising Dom.

The crew arrives at Georgia, in which they attempt finding the traces for a contact man of Mr. Nobody related to Project Aries. Suddenly, they are attacked by Jakob's men, resulting in a destructive car chase across the streets of London using a magnet-based weapon. Dom and the others succeed in outsmarting Jakob's army and destroy a military armored truck before they retreat to hiding. Then, they fly to Tokyo, in which they join forces with Sean Boswell.

Boswell leads them to Twinkie and Earl Hu, which, together with Ramsey and Tej are hacking into the contact man's phone. Afterwards, they find Jakob's agents once more scanning Tokyo. They follow Jakob's agents towards a club. In the club, they find the agents with Cipher's men. As Ramsey and Tej hack to Cipher's men's radios, they realize they already located Project Aries' location in Scotland.

Cipher's men quickly find and attack them, leading to a skirmish. Dom finds a masked man shooting at them, and, leaps off to fight him. He follows the masked man into a mansion-esque room, where he finds the man to be Jakob. After a brief fight, Jakob explains his motives to Dom and they recall seeing their father dying in 1989 when they were younger, and, Jakob blames Dominic in their father's demise, forcing him to grow in his shadow in the process.

Jakob flees but not before his men capture Dom and the others. Awaking in a military airplane, the crew discuss to create a plan against Jakob. Moments shortly, Letty explains that Jakob is Dominic's and Mia's little brother. Mia states he is blaming Dominic for their father's death and soon after they land in England.

Entering into a dark abandoned military base, Jakob presents his plan to the crew; he would use Cipher to lead him to Aries, allowing himself to use it in order to ignite a global war for domination what proves himself to be even better than Dom. Dom attempts an attack against him and his army, but fails only to be caught again.

Toretto is now brought before Cipher and she kisses him softly as revenge for the past events. She states that once Aries would belong to her, she would accomplish what she already started. Dominic tells her statement was wrongly, having his brother turning against her. Later, the crew invade to Cipher's location and they reunite with Han, revealing himself to be alive thanks to Queenie Shaw's assistance.

En route to escape from the base, Cipher attacks Dom and his crew until Jakob griefully attacks her, commanding his army to kill Dom. They escape in a destructive battle, until they evade and fly to Scotland. Jakob confronts Cipher, stating Aries belongs to him and locks her under his guards. In Scotland, Mr. Nobody tells the crew that Project Aries is indeed located in Scotland but aimed to Scotland's location on Earth. Together they reveal it is basically a satellite-based system outside Earth.

In behest of Mr. Nobody's command, Tej and Roman fly to space via a space shuttle Pontiac Fiero where they begin disabling Aries. Dom and the others, with backup from Mr. Nobody and Dom's allies battle Jakob's army on land. Dominic pursues after Jakob who flees into a military helicopter. The helicopter and Jakob's soldiers both attack Dom's car in which Letty and Ramsey are in, and, Toretto decides escaping the helicopter by jumping the car from mountain to one another ,leaving the bridge completely destroyed.

Moments after, they attack Jakob's helicopter just before he can attack them. Jakob escapes by parachute, and lands on Dominic's location. Badly injured, Jakob attempts a move against his brother until he is forced to shoot him. As Mr. Nobody arrives to arrest Jakob, Letty shoots Jakob to death. In space, Tej and Roman succeed disabling Aries but Roman causes it to self-destruct as they flee back to Earth.

The family reunites after the battle, agreeing to stay together and keep on contact with Nobody. Cipher frees herself from lockup, and, escapes once again to hiding.

In the aftermath; the family, joined by Sean, Han, Santos, Leo, Leysa,Twinkie and Earl Hu are having the known supper as they raise a toast for Brian. During the credits Deckard joins his mother as they drive away, promising they would watch on Dom and his family for safety.

99 Songs is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, and co-written and produced by A. R. Rahman (in his maiden production banner YM Movies), who thus makes his debut in both roles, apart from composing the original score and songs. The film co-produced by Ideal Entertainment and distributed by Jio Studios, stars debutants Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas in lead roles, alongside Aditya Seal, Lisa Ray and Manisha Koirala among others portray supporting characters.[1] The film is a sensual story about art and self-discovery of a struggling singer who wants to be a successful music composer.

Rahman had written the script for the film in 2011, with Eros International initially announced to produce the film in August 2013. After Eros backed out of the project, Rahman stated that he will produce the film under his own banner YM Movies. This film is the debut directorial of Vishwesh, who worked as an advertisement filmmaker before Rahman offered him to direct for his production. Vishwesh, also a musician, is well-known for the Mumbai-based hardcore band Scribe. The scripting and finalizing process continued till four years before the film was officially announced in June 2015. The casting process is done by Mukesh Chhabra; around 1,000 auditions took place until the makers finalized Ehan and Edilsy as the lead actors.

Production of the film silently progressed in March 2017 and ended within a year. The cinematography for the film was jointly handled by Tanay Satam and James Cowley, while editing was done by Akshay Mehta and Shreyas Beltangdy. The dialogues for the film were written by Hussain Dalal while Gautham Menon and Kiran gave the dialogues for the Tamil and Telugu versions. For the Tamil version, G. V. Prakash Kumar and Khatija Rahman gave voice-overs for the film's lead actors.

The world premiere of 99 Songs was held at the 24th Busan International Film Festival which was held at Busan, South Korea, where the film was screened in the Open Cinema category on 9 October 2019.[2][3] The film was released on 16 April 2021,[4] and was also dubbed and released in Tamil and Telugu

A U.S. military convoy transporting an unknown payload from Area 51 collides with a car driven by distracted newlyweds. The compromised payload unleashes a superhuman zombie that kills the soldiers while infecting two of them. The zombies head to Las Vegas, causing a devastating outbreak. After a failed military intervention, the government quarantines the city.

Casino owner Bly Tanaka and his associate Martin approach former mercenary Scott Ward about a job to steal $200 million from his casino vault before the military destroys the city with a tactical nuclear strike. Ward agrees and recruits his former teammates Maria Cruz and Vanderohe, along with helicopter pilot Marianne Peters, German safecracker Ludwig Dieter, and Mexican sharpshooter Mikey Guzman, who brings along his associate Chambers. Martin joins the team to observe them. Ward's estranged daughter Kate, who works at a quarantine camp, directs them to Lily, a smuggler familiar with the city. Lily recruits Burt Cummings, a camp security guard. When Kate learns Lily escorted her friend Geeta into Vegas, Kate insists on joining the team over Ward's objections.

After a tense encounter with a zombie-tiger named Valentine upon entering Vegas, Lily wounds Cummings, a rapist, and explains that a more intelligent group of zombies known as Alphas are willing to allow safe passage in exchange for a sacrifice. An Alpha female known as the Bride takes Cummings away to the Olympus casino, where the Alpha leader Zeus infects him. Lily leads the team to a building full of hibernating, normal zombies. Ward creates a path through the zombies with glowsticks. When Chambers accuses Martin of ulterior motives, he diverts her off the path, and she wakes the zombies. As she is overpowered, Guzman shoots her gas tank, blowing up both her and the zombies.

At Bly's casino, Ward and Kate turn on the power, Peters prepares a helicopter on the roof and Dieter works on the vault. Martin and Lily stay outside under the pretense of keeping watch, but they instead lure the Bride into the open. Martin beheads her and takes her head. Zeus discovers her body and returns her to Olympus casino, revealing that Bride was in fact pregnant with a zombie fetus. Enraged, Zeus directs the Alphas to Bly's casino. A news report reveals that the government has rushed the nuclear strike, giving the team approximately one hour. As Dieter opens the vault, Ward discovers that Kate had left to look for Geeta. As Ward and Cruz look for her, Alphas kill Cruz.

Martin traps the team in the basement, explaining that Bly cares only about the zombie head, which can create a zombie army for the government. When he steps outside, he discovers Lily stole Bride’s head, and Valentine mauls him to death. Vanderohe attempts to fight Zeus but is easily overpowered. Dieter sacrifices himself to get Vanderohe in the vault safely. Ward, Lily, and Guzman make it to the lobby where zombies attack them and swarm Guzman. Guzman detonates his grenades, killing the zombies and destroying the money he carried. Zeus confronts them on the roof. Lily distracts him with the Bride's head as Ward and Peters escape. Zeus impales Lily, but she destroys the Bride's head before dying.

Ward asks Peters to take him to the Olympus casino to retrieve Kate. There, Kate finds Geeta and kills Cummings. Zeus corners them, but Ward arrives in time to subdue him with an explosive. They reach the roof and board the helicopter, but Zeus jumps onto the helicopter. Though Zeus bites Ward, Ward kills Zeus. The nuclear warhead strikes the city, and a shockwave causes the helicopter to crash, killing Peters and Geeta. Kate survives and finds Ward, who gives Kate money to start a new life before turning into a zombie. Kate kills him and breaks down in tears as a rescue helicopter arrives.

Vanderohe exits the vault with the remaining money. He drives to Utah, where he rents a private plane to take him to Mexico City. On the flight, he becomes sick and discovers a bite mark on his arm.

The film starts off by showing Shakthi successfully robbing a moving train by cutting a hole in its roof. The police department appoints about-to-retire C. K. Manickavasagam to find out the culprit behind the train heist. Meanwhile, private detective Diya, who works exclusively for criminals, investigates a separate robbery from the car of a young man called Malik, son of the crime lord Jamalhudeen. Diya eventually comes across a video showing Shakti's face at the robbery.

Even whilst being pursued by Manickavasagam, Shakti carries out another heist from a flower market. The police chief and a few other officers get there immediately afterwards, but Shakti has already escaped. Everyone at the flower shop is arrested. Wanting to catch Shakti, he makes the IDCK bank put out a fake announcement. Shakthi's policeman friend Jagannathan warns him not to do it, but his urge to steal overcomes him and he carries it out right under the nose of Manickavasagam, who was waiting in the bank.

Diya breaks into Shakti's house and waits for him to return. Shakti opens a secret door containing all the money he ever stole, before Diya knocks him unconscious and walks in. She calls Jamal and tells him where all his money is. Jagan eventually arrives and finds an unconscious Shakti and Diya in the room. After being accused by Diya of being criminals, Jagan explains that Shakti has had a mental disorder from childhood where he feels an incredibly strong urge to steal money for no reason at all. To help him curb his urges, Jagan became an officer in the economic crime department and always tells him where to steal illegal money. Diya helps the two escape from Jamal, who takes all the money from the room.

Manickavasagam eventually captures Sakthi and Jagan, then complains to them about a corrupt politician who intends on bribing other politicians to win an election. Shakthi offers to steal the money for him, and Manickavasagam accepts. Shakti does so successfully, but then Jamal and his thugs arrive at the scene and try to grab the money, but all his goons are eventually knocked out or killed by Shakti or Manickavasagam, and Jamal himself is shot. Then Manickavasagam reveals to Shakti that he too is a corrupt person, and intends on keeping the money for himself. Before he can shoot Shakthi, the other police officers come and stop him. Rather than arresting him, they choose to hush it up to save the reputation of the state police force. Shakti and Diya are thanked publicly, and it is announced that 15 lakh rupees will be paid to each of all the farmers in India using the stolen money.
